Tuna mayo sandwiches
The best part about having a small get together is the different types of food you get to eat. I being the youngest , am always told to make the snacks while the adults handle the curry. I have been told that i do my part pretty well and that this was one of the best finger food they have tasted of mine.
What i used:
1 can of tuna (i get mine in olive oil)
5tablespoons mayonnaise
3 teaspoons Tabasco sauce or any other chili sauce
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1 tablespoon cheese spread
A few lettuce leaves
lots and lots of bread
How i did it:
1. Remove the oil or the brine from the tuna can with the help of a sieve and heat it for 30 seconds on a high flame stirring continuously.
2. In a big bowl mix together mayonnaise, tuna, cheese spread, cabbage and tobasco with a little pepper powder.
3. Cut the crusts out from the bread and spread 1 tablespoon (or more if required) mayo paste and finish with a lettuce leaf before closing it up with the other slice of bread.
