9th April 2023, The Second Debut

I'm restarting my old blog to escape the overstimulating cesspool that is Instagram. I started this blog when I was in school because I liked cooking and I liked taking pictures of food. I stopped because I hated writing. When Instagram became a thing in 2014 I was relieved that I wouldn't have to feel the pressure of writing anymore but still put pictures out for my friends and family to see. Cut to 9 years, and Instagram is a high content shit show of views, likes, paid promos and reels that I could live without watching.  I'm not keen on keeping this blog alive, but if I do want to start over, I see no reason why I should abandon all the hard work my 14 year old self had put in. I'm picking up this blog with a familiar excitement just like when I started all those years back. I only wish I'd given the name a little more thought..
