Simple Pound Cake

I love the smell of a bakery early in the morning. The lingering aroma of cakes and cookies. This recipe is clearly my way of spreading the love.

What i used:
5 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 eggs
1
½ cups flour

¾ cup sugar (powder sugar is easier)
2 tablespoons baking powder
a pinch of salt

80grms of butter (soft)

How it's done:
1. butter the sides of your baking pan
2. Whisk the wet ingredients (eggs, milk, vanilla) in a bowl for 30seconds by hand.
3. In a separate bowl sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder for 1 minute with a fork or until combined
4. cut the butter in small cubes and with an electric beater beat the butter and flour mixture for 30 seconds on medium speed.
5. Pour the egg mixture in two batches beating 20seconds after each addition
6. If the batter is a little thick it doesn't matter, your on the right track.

this is how i got my batter, creamy and thick .
7. Pour the batter in the baking dish and bake for about 30min - 40min or until when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

I personally enjoy a slice of
this with cut fruits, a bar of chocolate or a scoop of ice-cream .

I also made a similar one but sprinkled a few crushed oreos before baking them ,but i still prefer the simple one.
