choco chip cookies with a twist
I recently came to know about a rugelach and the story behind its name. Its the twists that is so attractive and the taste which is so traditional. I couldn't make rugelach but was inspired by its designs. i baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies and by the second batch i was reminded of a rugelach and gave the cookies a "twist" =).
What i used:
100 grams butter
1 egg
200 grams flour
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
How i did it:
1. Make dough from the butter, egg , flour and sugar and refrigerate for half an hour.
2. after it is frozen roll it out in a perfect circle ( i used the help of a plate) and cut across to form a wheel pattern.
3. sprinkle the choco chips and roll it from its ends
4. bake it for 10 minutes an cool it for 5.
I know the picture has 2 different cookie but don't concentrate on them.
