Choco Chip Apple Pie

The urge of eating an apple pie can't be replaced by anything.I mean its a biscuit with soft sweet apple and chocolate chips. It tastes delicious with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream and honey drizzled. Its not too sweet but it really is in perfect balance.

What I used:
for the filling
1 apple ( peeled and cut in small pieces)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
50 grams chocolate chips

for the base
1 egg
200 grams flour
100 grams frozen butter

How I did it:
1. Mix the apple , cinnamon, sugar and choco chip in a bowl and refrigerate until needed.
2. Cut the butter in small cubes. rub the butter and flour together with your fingers until you get a sandy texture. Don't work the dough too much.
3. beat the egg lightly and pour it to the sandy mixture and combine to form a ball of dough.Refrigerate this for half an hour.
4. After the dough is cooled roll it out on a floured surface about half an inch thick.
5. roll it out on your backing dish and prick tiny holes on it with a fork.
6. bake this for about 8-10 minutes.
7. spread the mixture evenly and if u have extra dough you could cut them in stripes.
8. Brush milk on the surface of the dough covered pie and bake for 10 min.
